Large, peaceful room in friendly Archway home

We’re looking for a new housemate to join our lovely Archway home, as one of us is moving in with his partner.

The room:
Large double on the first floor, next to the main bathroom (shared with just one other). Comes partially furnished with a bed, desk, built-in wardrobe and drawers, with plenty space for other bits.

The house:
We share a spacious ground floor with a living/dining area, kitchen and a sunny garden. We’ve got all the essentials plus some extras (dishwasher, tumble dryer and an extra fridge so it’s just 2 people per fridge). The kitchen will have a lovely new floor and wall tiles fitted soon, and our LL has agreed to a fresh coat of paint in the common areas. There’s also an extra loo downstairs + 2 storage rooms which are handy for luggage etc.

Location:
We're in a quiet gated mews just off Archway Road – feels so peaceful and quiet for London and very safe.

5 mins walk to Archway (Northern line) approx. 6 mins to Upper Holloway Overground, plus loads of handy bus routes. We have Aldi, M&S, Tesco, Sainsburys and Co-op all within 5 mins, as well as cafes, restaurants, gyms and co-working spots. There are also lovely parks to explore, including Waterlow Park up Highgate Hill

About us:
You’ll be living with Tarryn (30s South African, freelance writer & makeup artist), Connor (20s Brit in civil service) and Niamh (20s Kiwi in conservation). We’re friendly, respectful and sociable, but not a ‘regular party house’. We like binge-watching series together sometimes or testing our brain powers at local pub quizzes.

The details:
Move-in: 1 April
Lease until 30 September (renewable, ~5% increases historically).
Bills: approx.. £125/month + water billed separately every few months

We’re ideally looking for someone aged 30-40ish who wants to be part of a relaxed, considerate and communicative household and who'd be keen to stay on from October after lease renews.
