Cosy loft room in friendly houseshare

We’re looking for a new housemate to join our lovely Archway home, as one of us is moving closer to work.

The room:
A cute loft bedroom on the 2nd/top floor. It comes partially furnished with a bed, cupboard, bedside table, 2 sets of cubby shelves, a mirror, large rug and a water-powered cooling fan. Newly installed wood laminate floor (seen in the pic with the bed - the other pics are older).

The room is L-shaped and has a deceptive amount of storage space. There's also a shared storage cupboard right outside that's useful for luggage etc. Room has a loft window that’s idyllic in winter if you like the sound of falling rain.

You'd share the main bathroom (standard bathroom with shower over bath) with just one other person.

The house:
We share a spacious ground floor with a living/dining area, recently renovated kitchen and a sunny garden. We’ve got all the essentials plus some extras (dishwasher, tumble dryer and an extra fridge so it’s just 2 people per fridge). There’s also an extra loo downstairs as well as an additional storeroom.

We like to make good use of the shared space for hanging out, watching TV, catching some sun in the garden etc.

Location:
We're in a quiet gated mews just off Archway Road – feels so peaceful and quiet for London and very safe.

5 mins walk to Archway (Northern line) approx. 6 mins to Upper Holloway Overground, plus loads of handy bus routes. We have Aldi, M&S, Tesco, Sainsburys and Co-op all within 5 mins, as well as cafes, restaurants, gyms and co-working spots. There are also lovely parks to explore, including Waterlow Park up Highgate Hill, and it's a 20-ish minute walk to Hampstead Heath.

About us:
You’ll be living with Tarryn (30s, freelance writer & makeup artist), Connor (20s in civil service) and Aiko (30s in business administration). We’re friendly, respectful and sociable, but not a ‘regular party house’. We like binge-watching series together sometimes or testing our brain powers at local pub quizzes.

The details:
Move-in: 1 November
Lease: Rolling, as per the new renter's bill. Annual increase is in October, so the current price will be fixed for the next year.
Bills: approx.. £100/month + water billed separately every few months. Our bills are currently partially subsidised by a parking bay rental agreement with the agency that gives us each an extra £30 rebate/month. If this agreement were to end, the bills would go back up by £30pp.

Please note that the deposit is actually 880, not 860. Spareroom doesn’t seem to calculate this accurately because it doesn’t know the full annual rent for the whole house.

We’re ideally looking for someone in a similar age range who wants to be part of a relaxed, considerate and communicative household and who is looking for a long-term home.
