We often have kept ourselves to ourselves - working in our separate rooms - but (when our contrasting schedules permitted) shared food/drink & had friends & family around for dinner, sometimes including other professional musicians (who can occasionally be persuaded to play a bit.)

I had 2 a very friendly chilled-out cats...and got a very sweet and friendly lurcher puppy back in 2021. NB there are no soft furnishings here, which means the place is easy to keep very clean...especially with a robot hoover AND a weekly cleaner who has OCD.

Camden Town is about 10 mins by bike; cycling into central London takes 20-30 minutes (e. g. Covent Garden, Borough Market, Southbank Centre) ...which is about the same as by tube. [We are at the FOOT of Highgate Hill, which makes the ride home easy!]
