The flat is 10 mins walk from Clapham South station (Northern Line, zone 2) and 5 mins from Balham station (Northern Line / Mainline to Victoria, zone 3). The street is very quiet, with virtually no pass through traffic, and comprises terraced Victorian houses with a mixture of families and young professionals. It is situated one minute from the High St, with access to Waitrose, Sainsbury and lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. It's a very safe area.
The bedrooms have been newly re-carpeted, and the flat has timber floors, granite kitchen, stainless steel appliances and landscaped garden and courtyard. The open plan living area opens onto the south facing garden deck with barbecue. It's really great in summer! There's unlimited (I mean it!) storage in the basement (suitable for bikes, exercise equipment, etc) and it also serves as the laundry / drying area.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, and all the usual mod cons and our lovely cleaner comes every two weeks. Happy to increase to weekly if you feel it's necessary.
I'm neat, easy-going, and also have my boundaries. I'm really respectful of other people's space, and am looking for someone who is similar.
I am open minded about who I share with - age, gender, sexuality. I would like someone to share occasional meals and chats with (I don't want to live with a stranger), and also want to do my own thing and leave you to do yours.
