Spacious double room in lovely flat

Hello!

Our flatmate is moving on (bought a place nearby!), and we now have a spacious double room available in our lovely flat.

*The room
The available room is a double (with space for a desk - great if you need to wfh), which comes with drawers, a wardrobe, bed, bedside table and plenty of shelf space. It's a quiet room at the back of the flat, overlooking the communal garden. We've included a couple of pics of the room to show different setups.

*The Flat
This is a furnished three bed flat, with separate kitchen, big living room (big enough for 3 sofas, so one each!), and bathroom with a decent shower and bath.

*Location
The flat is in a great location - a quiet residential street, close to Balham tube and overground, so really well connected.

*Rent and Bills
Rent is £853 (to be reviewed in December, but the landlord is really reasonable). Bills are £90-120 per month paid separately. Deposit is £566.67.

*Housemates
You'll be sharing with 2 girls - Jo and Leanne. A bit about us: Jo (36) works in Marketing, is a rum lover and a veggie. Leanne (34) works as a Civil Servant, working on energy and climate policy. Both of us enjoy the usual things - fitness/gymming, heading out for drinks or food or hanging out at home and relaxing after work. We're partial to a bit of trash TV and chilling out together- but also appreciate our own space too. We're a chilled house looking for a good fit for the flat - it's very much a home rather than a place to sleep. We like to keep it reasonably clean and tidy, without being neat freaks. We are both WFH sometimes - luckily lots of space in the flat so that's not a problem!

One of (Jo) us has a slight sensitivity to the smell of cooked fish, so we're also ideally hoping for someone who's happy to limit the fish cooking in shared kitchen (otherwise, totally not fussed!).

We've been 2 girls & a guy till now, but are after the right housemate, so open to either guys or girls. If this sounds like good fit for you, pop us a message with a bit yourself :)


The room contract is available from 10th November with first Rent due 11th November.
