Short Sublet in Friendly Balham House

Hi there,

We’ve got a double room available for a sublet from now until 27 March, whilst I’m away in South Africa. Shorter stays will be considered.

It’s a great location and a really friendly house! The room is normally £650 but I’m hoping to find someone soon.

Normally, we’d prefer in-person viewings but given the current situation, if you are more comfortable with a virtual tour initially then we can do that.

The boring stuff:
Double room £500 (all bills included)
5 beds, 2 bathrooms
About 7 minute walk from Balham Station (Northern Line and National Rail)
This sublet has been approved by the landlord.

A bit about us:
Joe - 30, British, Live in landlord, actor/vo artist, pub quiz host and temp worker
Sönke - 28, German, moved in in June, works as an Engineering/Maintenance Manager for a vegan skin care brand.
Sally - 27, British Japanese, moved in in September, neuroscientist.
Daniel (me) - 28, South African, I work in the Digital Engagement & Commercial team of a sports organisation. I’m in SA for a few months and hence looking to sublet

We're a friendly bunch, into all the usual things, film and TV (of which there is a wide array to choose from with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sky, BT Sport, Freeview, etc.). Board games and booze (we have a home bar which Joe built). Joe makes the best cocktails, Sally is known to cook and Sönke may offer you a smoothie. We have a PS4 in the house and all enjoy a bit of gaming.

The bedroom comes with a Smart TV too, with Netflix, and a desk, chair, cupboard and chest of drawers. Dishwasher and washing machine is handy. Fast BT internet.

We also have a single room available immediately for a longer let (for £430 plus bills of about £70).
