Hello
We are looking for a new flat mate to join our friendly flat-share in Balham. Our flat is in a great location just 5 mins from Balham tube, coffee shops, bars and restaurants. We are also situated between Tooting, Clapham and Wandsworth commons - essential during lockdown!
The flat is on the top floor of a beautiful and well-maintained Victorian Mansion block. It has a spacious lounge, separate kitchen, bathroom and lots of original features. Downstairs there is secure basement storage and a lovely communal garden with bike racks. We are all mostly out during the day for work but do wfh intermittently. There is space for anyone to work in the lounge if they can’t work in their room, and there’s also ample space and a desk in the room if preferred. On road parking is available via a resident’s permit.
We love our flat and have made some great friends here. We are looking for a new housemate who wants a home, not just a room. We respect each others space and have our own social lives but would also like people who enjoy hanging out together. We are mostly low key during the week and often spend our time watching TV and having a glass of wine.
At the weekend we like going out for food, exploring new places, going to the pub, travelling.
Rent is £675 with bills averaging £80 per month (internet, water, gas, tax, TV license, bi-weekly cleaner)
The room’s available from beginning of August however there is some flexibility, so do ask if you need a specific date. Our new contract will start in the 1st August.
