Large room in lovely maisonette with park views

I'm Max. My housemate is sadly moving out to live with his girlfriend so I'm in search of a new flatmate to enjoy this wonderful house with.

The room is a large double bedroom with two floor-to-ceiling built in wardrobes, a double bed, and a pretty bureau (optional!). The house is a three bed house but I have recently decided to drop to two of us so the third bedroom will become a study/piano/sofa-bed room. Between your bedroom, the living room, the new study, and the kitchen there’s plenty of space to work if you work from home. I work some days at home and some in the office.

The house has a beautiful view overlooking the peaceful Tooting common: perfect for walks, workouts, and picnics in summer. Balham station is just a 12-minute walk away, offering excellent rail links to Victoria, Waterloo, Clapham Junction, and the Northern line.

The first floor has the kitchen, living room, a shared bathroom, your bedroom, and the study. My room is nestled up on the top floor. My previous housemates had plenty of their own things around the communal areas too to add some personal touches and make the place truly feel like home.
I’m really lucky to have a private garden directly accessible from the kitchen. In summer months it’s great for barbecues or a morning coffee - although probably more just to see out the windows in winter! There's also access along a back alleyway so you can store bikes and other outdoor gear.

As for me, I work in telecoms, am a passionate kayaker, and sing in a choir. I hope to continue to have a friendly house that enjoy cooking together, chatting about their day, and creating a warm, friendly atmosphere. I’m often out exploring or socialising during weekends and evenings, but always up for sharing dinners and hosting get-togethers with friends if we're all in the mood.

Bills aren't included, but will likely come to ~£250 per month per person, which includes a cleaner every 2 weeks.
