Our current flatmate is moving out to live with her boyfriend so we have a spare room in our gorgeous house in Balham. We are looking to find a new sociable, clean and respectful housemates to renew the contract.

The house
We live in a large 4 double bedroom flat; the house compromises of 2 flats and we are the upstairs flat (3 floors). We have a separate living room and kitchen diner and a large bathroom and separate toilet. The living room Is big and light. The house is unfurnished. We have the majority of furniture but are looking for housemates who want to continue to make the flat a home and bring / contribute to new pieces.

Room:
Fits a double bed, chest of draws and wardrobe (these aren't included the room is unfurnished). For WFH days we currently have a work from home set up in the living room for this. The room is £590 with no bills and all in is £692. We also have additional storage in the eaves for the whole house but can 100% be utilised for storage.

Location:
The house is a 5 min walk from Wandsworth Common and 10 min walk from Balham station and a 10 Minute Walk to Northcote road with Clapham Junction just round the corner from there.

We live on a quiet street. We are one of only a few house shares on the road. It is a very wholesome community with an active street group chat with random goodies people are getting rid of and the occasional street party. Our landlord and agent is also amazing (which is saying something) and so quick to react to any issues with a resolve.

We are in Wandsworth so low council tax!

The flatmates:
You'll be sharing with Maddey, Kitty and Lauren (me) :) I have been in the house 2 years, Maddey has been in the house a year and a half and Ktty is a new addition.

We are good friends so we are looking for people who are looking to make the house a home. We are pretty chilled in the week mainly gym, eat and binge series. (we are also starting a run club with our gals so more than welcome to join us on runs around the common) We do love an occasional pub quiz although we are awful so general knowledge welcome.
The weekends are usually spent out and about with friends, and would love house mates who have their own circles but also not afraid to socialise with ours and up for pub with any day ending in Y.

As mentioned it is a quiet street so it's not a huge party house. Our neighbours are super chilled as we love to host and we have the occasionally party / dinner party.

The move in date is 18th June 2024 and the contract is for 1 year, so we're only looking for people who want to commit to something longer term.
