Large 2nd floor room that overlooks the garden and railway. Decently soundproofed and on a quiet road that is only a 5 minute walk from Balham station.
Big Sainsburys, high street and pubs within a 5-10 min walk. Also close to Tooting Common.
The flat is a 2-bed, 1 bathroom top floor townhouse flat with private garden and street (permit) parking. Bedroom, living room and kitchen are furnished with everything you’d expect.
Your room has a double bed, huge built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and cupboards, and also a tv aerial.
Bills are ~£150 / month with cheap (band D) Wandsworth council tax!
You’ll be living with me. I moved to London in March ‘21 after 5 years in Leeds. Work in engineering and spend 4-5 days in the office and on site so only occasionally work from home, and would be looking for someone with a similar work routine. Late night partying days are pretty much over, however still a typical bloke who drinks beer and spends some evenings and weekends playing (cricket / tag rugby / football / golf) or just watching sport.
I’m looking for a decent human who enjoys a quiet and peaceful home and is up for occasionally hanging out and becoming a friend. Keen to find out about your interests / hobbies!
I do have a gf that is over once or twice a week, but I am out at hers just as much so you’ll get some space!
Flatmate and I renewed this contract in September ‘23 (I’ve been here since 2022) but he’s now moving in with friends from home. He’s pretty flexible with a move date (realises it may be January) but would prefer to be out sooner than later as his new tenancy starts mid December. Contract for the flat ends 19/09/25 so I’m ideally looking for someone who wants to renew the contract again next year if all goes to plan!
