Big bright double room in Balham house with garden

After living here for one year, I'm leaving this amazing house in Balham to move in with my girlfriend. My amazing (soon to be former) housemates are looking for a sociable male professional to take my room.

The house itself is huge and comes with:

- A large living room with sofas and TV

- A kitchen with all modern amenities including dishwasher and fridge-freezer

- A large dining room, which also acts as an ideal wfh and workout space

- Two bathrooms (one with a bath and one with a shower)

- Washing machine and tumble dryer

- A South-facing garden with shed and patio and room for bike storage

- A cellar for storing your boxes and suitcases.

The room is a double on the second floor of the house looking out to the front. It comes furnished with a double bed and huge built in wardrobes. There's plenty of room for a desk and other furniture. There’s also plenty of space to work downstairs.

The house is in a great location, just a 10 minute walk from central Balham, where you'll find the tube/overground, supermarkets, library, gyms, cafes and bars. It's also in the middle of three Commons, with Wandsworth Common only a 5 minute walk away. Clapham and Tooting Commons are 15-20 minutes away on foot. Balham is an amazing area and I’m have lived here over the last year or so.

You'll be sharing with Caroline (UX Designer), Kieron (Finance Consultant) and Bronte (Physio). They are a lovely fun bunch who have their own separate social lives but also love spending time together out and at home, and are looking for someone who can join in with that and be a friend as well as a housemate.

Ideally we're looking for a male housemate to keep the balance. The current contract runs until April 2025 and has been continually renewed for many years. Bills are approximately £150 - £200/month.
The deposit is £855.
