Description
Hi, we’re looking for a 4th person to complete our lovely flat in Balham! We’re 3 girls (Helen, Kate & Caroline) who have lived together for over a year and are looking to find someone to replace our 4th housemate who’s moving in with her boyfriend, as we love the flat!
We all contribute an additional £100 per month to cover bills but always have some left for birthday dinners and the Christmas tree!
The pictures speak for themselves but it’s a decent double room next door to a bathroom shared with one other person. Upstairs we’ve got an incredible open plan living / kitchen / dining / office space which opens out onto a beautiful terrace which gets the sun during the day!
We’re 5 minutes from both Balham station (Northern line and overground) and Wandsworth Common station (overground - 10 mins into Victoria). We’re really lucky that we’re so close to Wandsworth Common which is perfect for coffee walks, runs and picnics.
We all work in very different industries (consulting, consumer goods and marketing) and are in the office a couple of days a week but have space to work comfortably at home too - you can see our home office from one of the photos, we call it the ‘Balham WeWork’!
We’ve become good friends over the past year but also spend time doing our own thing outside of the house. Our hobbies include tennis, running, brunching, drinks with friends, theatre and the occasional Netflix binge.
We’re also very lucky with our private landlords who live 3 doors down and are very responsive but never overbearing or arriving unannounced.
