We have 1 double room with en suite available in our shared Balham house. The room is available from 18th September.
About the room:
The room comes furnished with double bed, small table, chest of drawers and spacious fitted wardrobes and is situated upstairs on the first floor. There is more than enough room for a WFH setup (or two) if needed and comes with a large en suite bathroom.
Deposit for the room is £770.
About the house:
The house is absolutely massive with a large living/dining room, kitchen, garden and driveway. Garden has a BBQ for the summer.
It is a 20 min walk to Balham centre and 5 min from the lovely Tooting Bec commons. The bus to Clapham is right outside the house (~15 mins to Clapham) and buses to Brixton are ~5 min walk.
About the flatmates:
Jack (29) - Cool beard, loves films and cracker in your pub quiz team. Around 4 years in the house.
Iain (33) - Irish. Loves the pub and motocross. Around 5 years in the house.
Alex (23) - Big on cooking, football and music. Loves a boogie and getting out to gigs. 6 months in the house.
Jake (25) - Filmmaker and musician extraordinaire. The ‘human IMDB’. 6 months in the house.
The dynamic of the house is friendly and chilled. You’ll often catch us shooting the breeze about films, discussing the footy, or sticking some Friends on the telly. Also sneak in the occasional pub trip and movie marathons.
The room is available to working professionals and you will have to undergo a credit check with the landlord. Unfortunately No pets allowed
House is a mix of meat eaters/veggies/vegans so we all just respect each other in that space.
Ideal housemate:
Male / Female
Friendly - we enjoy hanging out and catching up so joining the dynamic is important to the house
Age range is pretty flexible (currently the house is 23-33).
