WANTED 🏡
a friendly flatmate for our lovely home in Balham.
I’m so so sad to be moving out, but am looking for a sociable female flatmate to replace me.
Room: single bed - rent is £658 a month, with one month rent as a deposit. Bills are around £139 a month. There’s a super deep wardrobe just outside the room, as well as a chest of drawers, a bedside table and plenty of other storage space around the flat
Location: 10-15 min walk from Balham station (15-20 min tube to London Bridge and a 15 min journey to Victoria). Tooting Common is literally a 1 min walk away and you can get to Clapham Common in 15 mins. Brixton is also a 15 min bus ride away. The flat is on a quiet residential street.
Flatmates: Bella (26) and Kim (27) both young professionals working as a paralegal and a fashion company respectively. They enjoy bottomless brunches, reality tv and discovering new bars together.
Other details:
- plenty of WFH space in the kitchen, breakfast bar and lounge (wifi signal is strong throughout the flat). Two of us semi-regularly work from home and it’s never been an issue.
- flat was recently redecorated so everything is in great condition
- we have a separate, spacious living room and kitchen with dining table and an island ( and we have a tumble dryer)
- opposite the edge of Tooting Bec Common (i. e. regular interaction with dogs and ideal sunbathing spot)
- close to the centre of Balham which is a buzzy area full of restaurants, bars and independent coffee shops
- shared garden
- private landlord so no agency fees
Bella and Kim are looking for someone who wants a home not just a house- we enjoy spending time together watching trashy TV, going out for drinks and generally chatting about rubbish! I’ve absolutely adored my time in the flat so I’m looking for a lovely new person to join my glorious two flatmates.
