A spacious and bright double room available in our Balham house!
We are looking for a young professional housemate aged between 25-39 who is clean, tidy and sociable to join the lovely John, Will and Radhika. We are all friends and love to catch up in the evening, watch TV series/movies and go out together when we can but are busy with work and our own lives too. We would love to find a great fit for the house!
It is a large, furnished house which has been decorated and looked after nicely. The place is only an 12-minute walk from Balham underground station, Wandsworth Common train station is only a few minutes walk away and it is so close to all bus routes - so it is really well connected! There is an Aldi, big Sainsburys and Waitrose all within easy reach. Balham is a great area to live - it has loads of great shops, brunch cafes, bars, pubs and there is a gym right by the station.
There is a large open plan living area with a dining room which is great for hosting when people do come over. The kitchen area is large and equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher. The living room area has 2 sofas, and a TV with all the channels and streaming services you could wish for and Wifi works well in all areas of the house. There is a washing machine and dryer in the Utility room too with 2 bathrooms on the first floor.
THE BEDROOM: The room is a ground floor, double room. It’s very large with lots of natural light. There is a small one off fee of £300 for the bed that I purchased upon moving in as the existing one was broken. However, this would then belong to you! There are 2 wardrobes and plenty of room for other storage units and working from home. It's a great space and is a very lovely room to spend time in. The house is looked after by our helpful and responsive live-out landlord.
A breakdown for bills:
The rate of the room is £812.5 excluding bills and the deposit is £1030.
Bills:
1. Energy: £50 per month
2. Wifi: £19.5 per month
3. Water: £13.88 per month
4. Council tax: £37.45 per month
5. TV License: £7.06 and Cleaner: £24 per month
The move in date is anywhere Sunday 15th-Sunday 22nd December.
