Double room in a cosy and sociable Balham flat

Currently looking for a new flatmate (and soon to be friend!) for a flat in Balham.

The flat itself is super central, about a 5 minute walk from the tube. Balham is on the northern line, which has the night tube, and takes about 15-20 minutes to get into central.

The flat is also on a lovely quiet street and feels super safe at all times, which I absolutely love as when I first moved to London that was my number one concern.

Bills tend to be around £110 per person on top of rent, included in this is the cost of our cleaner, Beata, who comes every 2 weeks (she’s absolutely fab!)

There are loads of cute cafes, restaurants and pubs nearby and we’re close to three commons so there’s plenty of green space around too! We’re two minutes away from Balham high street where there are loads of shops (we even have an Aldi!)

The room available is a double, with a wardrobe and chest of drawers. The room does would not fit a desk, so may not suit someone who works from home that often! However, there is also a communal living area so if a desk is needed, there is definitely space in there for one 😊

The room is the last of three rooms to fill. It has has become available as my current flatmates are moving elsewhere 😢 we’ve been living together for around 3 years now and it will be very sad to part ways - although they’re all moving elsewhere in London for work, we’re still friends and will still be hanging out whenever we get the chance!

Over the past three years we’ve really made this flat feel like home away from home 🥰 and I’m keen to find new flatmates that would like to do the same! Ideally I’m looking to find likeminded, tidy people that would like to be friends as well flatmates.

The flat is fairly girly so female flatmates would be preferred.

Just a little about the current flatmates:

Holly - 30 years old, originally from Newcastle and I work in marketing. Usually in the office 3 days a week and from home the other two. I like to go out and socialise on the weekends, always down for a brunch, a trip to the pub or exploring different parts of London 🥰

Chloe - 28, from down south and works in technology support at a startup in London Bridge 💅🏻 she loves going for brunch, museums and Pilates!

Harriet - 30 from the Cotswolds and is a fashion and life stylist ✨. Also loves brunch and Pilates, being outdoors, reading, chilling and catching up with friends.

We’re all very sociable equally like our own space to recharge that social battery.
