Bright double room in Balham house with garden

I am leaving our home in Balham to go travelling and so looking for a sociable male professional to replace me.

The house itself is huge and comes with:

- A large living room with sofas and TV
- A kitchen with all modern amenities including dishwasher and fridge-freezer
- A large dining room, which also acts as an ideal wfh and workout space
- Two bathrooms (one with a bath and one with a shower)
- Washing machine and tumble dryer
- A South-facing garden with shed and patio and room for bike storage
- A cellar for storing your boxes and suitcases.

The room is a double on the top floor of the house looking out to the garden. It comes part-furnished with wardrobes and drawers. There's room for a desk and other furniture. There’s also plenty of space to work downstairs.

The house is in a great residential location, just a 10 minute walk from central Balham, where you'll find the tube/overground, supermarkets, library, gyms, cafes and bars. It's also in the middle of three Commons, with Wandsworth Common only a 5 minute walk away. Clapham and Tooting Commons are 15 minutes away on foot. Balham is an amazing area if you’re not familiar.

You'll be sharing with Caroline (UX Designer), Fraser (Town Planner) and Phoebe (Charity Sector). We all have our own separate social lives but also love spending time together out and at home, and are looking for someone who can join in with that and be a friend as well as a housemate.

We're looking for a male housemate to keep the balance. Bills are approximately £200/month and includes council tax, energy, water, wifi and fortnightly cleaner. The deposit is £855 and parking permits are available to purchase if needed.
