My wonderful flatmate is moving in with her boyfriend, so I have a spare room going in a lovely spacious and bright flat in Balham. It’s a large room across a whole floor, with an en-suite bathroom, tons of storage, and space for a home office. We also have a big kitchen/living room setup.

It’s really close to Balham station (6 minutes walk according to citymapper, 4 minutes walk when I’m late in the morning), and it’s located just off of Balham High Street with all the shops and brunch places. Wandsworth Common, Clapham Common and Tooting Common are also all a short walk away.

I’m going into my fourth year of living here (longest I’ve ever stayed anywhere in London!), and I absolutely love it!

Bills are not included but come to under £100 per month.

To tell you a little about me:
I’m Kathryn, I’m 27, and I work in HR for a fintech. I’m in the office 1-2 days a week and work from home the rest of the time. I love reading, cooking (I’m vegetarian), gym classes, exploring London, and podcasts.

It would be great to have a friendly, considerate, and chilled flatmate. I’m out quite a lot in the week so may not be around but when I am, I’m always up for watching something/a good chat. I also would prefer someone with a similar hybrid pattern so we’re not both always working from home together. I’m definitely not a big partier anymore at my old age (!) so it’s big chill vibes in this house. Unfortunately, no pets :( and no couples. This is an LGBTQ+ friendly house!
