£800 PCM Room Airy Flat Balham near Tooting Common

Hello!

We are looking for a new housemate to fill a room in a bright and airy flat situated conveniently for both Balham Underground and Tooting Bec Common.

The room is £800 PCM for a double room in a three bed flat with a separate spacious living room/dining area and kitchen. The flat is a middle floor flat in a converted house, with great access to Balham and Tooting Bec Common. The tube is a 8-12 minute walk away, depending on your walking pace, on a quiet road 2 minutes from Tooting Bec Common.

About us:

Sam is a Brit who has been in the flat for five years, initially moving in during Covid with a two close friends who have since moved on. Rose is an Aussie who moved in five months ago.

Both are social, clean, chatty and respectful with professional jobs and who lead their own lives, but are also very happy to chat on the sofa or nip to the pub for a swift pint and a catch-up.

The room is available from 24th September, the rent is £800 PCM. Bills are around £100-£120 per month. The landlord is overall very hands off day-to-day, but very responsive to issues with the flat (a new boiler, fridge and oven has been installed in the last year!). A c.5 week deposit is required on move in. The Contract runs until May, with potential to extend for another year.
