We are 2 girls looking for a new housemate as our current housemate is moving out to go travelling. We're a 15 min walk from Balham Train/Tube Station and high street where there are lots of nice pubs and restaurants! There is also cheap permit parking on our road and is free on the weekends! The house is also 5 mins walk from Tooting Common.
The Room & House
The room is a big double on the first floor which overlooks the back garden and has room for a desk to work at. It's unfurnished however, our current housemate is going to leave the built in wardrobe and is also open to leaving the chest of drawers and bed/mattress if you want them.
The house has 1 bathroom which has a big shower/bath. A large kitchen with plenty of storage, 2x ovens, kitchen table, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. The living room is nice and big, perfect for movie nights and series binges! The garden is big with garden furniture and gets the sunlight throughout the day, great for BBQs.
Rent/Landlords: The rent is £1000. Bills come to roughly £120 per month including fast wifi and metered utilities.
The landlords are a wonderful couple who live nearby in Brixton. We rent with them through OpenRent so have a good, direct, relationship with them - they have been great with the few small issues and even upgraded the garden last summer.

About Us:
We're 2 girls aged between 35-37yrs, working professionals who hybrid work 9-5 hours. Jas works in Sport Marketing so naturally into her sports, and plays tennis, rounders, badminton but also loves comedy nights and a good crime/thriller drama series. I (Sarah) work in IT for a property firm and play tag rugby, run and love a good video game sesh every now and again. We both like to travel, explore and try new things and when in, we hangout and go to the many pubs in Balham. We do also have our own independent social lives and respect each other's space so, we're looking for someone who is like-minded, clean, sociable and up for getting involved with us.
