Hey everyone, I’m Megan and I’m looking for someone to fill a lovely room in a modern two bedroom, ground floor flat (with a large lounge area and kitchen) in a great location in Balham. The flat is around a 10 minute walk from Balham tube & overground station (15 minutes to Clapham South station).

I’ve lived in the flat for over 2 years and my current flatmate has decided to move back home☹️. The room will be available from the start of October for a 12 month contract. Rent is £1100 per month. Deposit £1211.50.
Possibility for flexibility around an earlier move in date provided referencing checks are passed but can discuss further

The room is a nice sized double room, which comes with a large wardrobe, double bed and chest of draws.

I’m 27 years old and a secondary school teacher. I’m looking for someone who is similar in age, sociable, tidy, respectful, up for a night out but also enjoys a night in. I’d enjoy getting to know whoever I live with and going for the odd pub/cocktail bar trip, but equally I have my own circles of friends and I am respectful of space.

As I’m a teacher and work in school 5 days a week and I would recommend this room would not be suitable for someone who work’s from home often.
