Double room in spacious Balham flat

I am looking for someone to take over my flatmates room, which is available from 28th September, as she is moving out to relocate to Australia.

The flat is a very spacious top floor two bed flat with a shared bathroom, and separate kitchen and living room. The location is fantastic on Byrne Road in Balham, only a 5 minute walk to the tube with lots of great coffee shops and restaurants around, and easy access to tooting common.

The room itself is a good size double with a huge built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and built in cupboards. The flat also has access to the attic space which can be used for extra storage.

The rent is £1,200 per month plus bills, which are around £120ish and includes council tax, water, gas, electric and internet. The tenancy runs until March 2028 and the rent is fixed until then, so great for anyone looking for a long term let. If you want to move out before you just have to find someone to take over the tenancy.

I’m 30 and work as a lawyer in central London, usually in the office 5 days a week. When I’m not at work you’ll usually find me out on a run, on the sofa watching Netflix or out at the pub with friends. I have a boyfriend who usually stays 1-2 nights a week, and I usually stay at his the same amount. The flat is suitable for a professional between the age of 28-33, who works from the office the majority of the time, clean and tidy and who is happy to have a Netflix binge or drink at the pub but also has their own things going on in London.
