Looking for a new flatmate - Balham

We're looking for a new flatmate to move into our 3-bed Balham flat, which is a 5 minute walk from the station. You'll be living with 3 others: one couple - Kendall and Lewis, and Lucy. We’re looking for someone to replace our other flatmate who is sadly moving out of London.

We're looking for a friend as much as a flatmate. We're all very clean, tidy and super house proud, so we're looking for someone who wants to make the house a home. We enjoy spending some time together and socialising when we're all home, having chilled movie nights, cooking and baking, as well as the odd after work wine. We also value personal space and our alone time, and we're usually out a couple of nights per week too. We love going out for food and drinks, going to gigs and theatre, as well as wholesome activities like markets and getting out in nature.

Kendall (29) is a primary school teacher from NZ, who’s been living in London for 2.5 years. She enjoys a good book and can happily read for hours on end, but also loves to get out and explore the area as well as travel whenever she gets the chance!
Lewis (28) has been living in London for 4 years and is originally from Nottinghamshire. He enjoys getting out to the gym or playing football and cricket. You’ll even find him joining in on any MAFS goss.
Lucy (23) has just moved down to London from Liverpool. She is studying fashion journalism at LCF. She teaches yoga and enjoys Pilates, exploring new dinner/drink spots, and loves a good shop.

The room fits a double bed and it's on the first floor of a two story maisonette, sharing a bathroom with one person from the other downstairs room. It's the smallest of the three rooms, but still fits a double bed and enough storage - you can also squeeze in a desk if you'd like one! A few people have lived in this room now and they've each moved the furniture around in different ways, as you can see from the photos. The bed, mattress, wardrobe and chest of drawers all come with the room.

Lewis mostly works from home, but pops into the office once or twice a week. Lucy works part-time around her studies so is in and out during the week. Kendall teaches so will be home more during school holidays - but you’ll find she’s likely to be off jetting away somewhere, or out exploring London while she has the time off!

We love our little flat - we have an open-plan kitchen and living room, which is really sociable, as well as a roof terrace, which is a sun-trap in the summer - we spend a lot of time up there with coffees and wines!

Balham is a really lovely, safe area, with lots of cute shops and brunch spots and we're within walking distance of Tooting, Wandsworth and Clapham Common. The room is £881 per month, plus bills which come to around £70 per month, depending on usage. The deposit is £1076.66 and the move in date is the 7th December.
