Massive Room in cute Balham flatshare

after four years here, our flatmate ellie has decided it’s time for a change - which brings us to you, our potential new flatmate!

🏡 about the flat:

the biggest room in the flat is available from early december. it comes with a double bed, wardrobe, side table, large chest of drawers and tv stand. the rugs, armchair, bookcases, second night stand and tv are going with ellie.

the wider flat comes with 1 bathroom and 2 toilets, cosy but cute lounge room, big kitchen with dining table, there’s also two storage cupboards throughout the flat.

we have a massive backyard that’s only accessible by our flat - lovely to lie about and read in during the warmer months.

🌳 about the location:

located in balham a five-minute walk from the tube (northern line)/station (southern services to london bridge/victoria/epsom downs/watford junction/dorking/sutton/croydon), and the high street (with multiple bus lines).

there's a big sainsburys, aldi and waitrose within 5 minutes walk, and loads of pubs, places to eat, charity shops and more on the high street.

wandsworth common and tooting common are within a 15-20 minute walk.

✨ important bits:

rent will be £1050 from january 1st, excluding bills which generally come to £100 pp per month (incl. council tax (band D), wifi, gas/heating, water etc). we pay the same in summer to make up for the extra use in winter.

there will be one month of £1000 rent in december.

our agency is pretty responsive to any immediate issues, we’ve got a dedicated handyman that comes within a week or 2.

kate, 31, aussie, works in social media. loves second hand shopping, reading, flowers and homewares.

katie, 30, canadian, works for the nhs. loves reading, the gym and cooking (baked goods are often provided).

🌷 about you:

woman between 28-35. must love plants, they’re everywhere. looking for someone who will be an active participant in the flat - we both have our own social circles but still hang out, watch tv, have a glass of wine or two together.

must be okay with kate’s sister visiting a couple of times a week (she lives nearby). must be lgtbqi+ and neurodivergent friendly.
