Massive room in cute Balham flatshare

Looking for a woman 28-35 to join our friendly flat in Balham,. We're after someone who will be an active participant in the flat - we both have our own social circles but still hang out, watch tv, have a glass of wine or two together. Also there’s plants everywhere, so an added bonus if you love plants.

🏡 about the flat:

Available from early December, the room comes with a double bed, wardrobe, side table, large chest of drawers, and TV stand.

The rest of the flat has 1.5 bathrooms, a cosy but cute lounge room (w. TV & playstation 2), a big kitchen, two storage cupboards, and a big backyard (ideal on sunny days).

🌳 about the location:

We’re five minutes away from the Northern Line and Balham station (Southern services), five mins walk from the high street, and a 15-20 min from Wandsworth and Tooting Common.

✨ important bits:

Rent will be £1050 from january 1st, excluding bills, which come to roughly £100 per person. We’re council tax band D.

There will be one month of £1000 rent in December, before it increases in the new year.

Our agency is pretty responsive to any immediate issues. We’ve got a dedicated handyman who comes within a week or 2.

Kate, 31, aussie, works in social media. loves second-hand shopping, reading, flowers and homewares.

Katie, 30, canadian, works for the nhs. loves reading, the gym and cooking (baked goods are often provided).

We both split time between office and wfh, so no worries about a similar split there.

Must be okay with Kate’s sister visiting a couple of times a week (she lives nearby). Must be lgtbqi+ and neurodivergent friendly.
