Double Room Available in Sociable Balham House

A bright and comfortable furnished double room is becoming available in our friendly five‑bedroom house in the buzzing area of Balham. The neighbourhood is full of great pubs, cafés and restaurants, with a lively atmosphere and lots of young professionals. Tooting Bec Common is only a five‑minute walk from the house, perfect for morning runs or weekend strolls, and Balham station and the main town area are just ten to fifteen minutes away, making commuting and social plans really convenient.

The house itself is spacious, with a large kitchen and separate living room that make it easy to cook, relax or socialise together. We also have a lovely garden that’s great for summer BBQs, drinks after work or simply unwinding in some green space. Currently, the house is made up of two guys and three girls, all in our early to mid 30s and working in professional roles. We each have our own lives and friends in London, but we genuinely enjoy spending time together too, creating a really healthy balance between socialising and personal space. Most of us split our week between working from home and the office, which keeps the house lively without ever feeling crowded.

We’re a very sociable and easy‑going group who enjoy things like lunches out, pub trips, festivals and travelling. The mix in the house includes two girls from Ireland, one from Scotland and both guys are English. We’re now looking for a friendly, considerate guy—around the early to mid 30s mark—to join the house and add to the laid‑back, welcoming atmosphere.
