Hello hello! My flatmate is sadly moving abroad, so I’m looking for someone to join me on a new lease.
The room is large with a walk in wardrobe. The room itself is unfurnished, but current flatmate may be willing to sell the furniture if needed - something we can discuss!
The rest of the flat has everything you’d need - sofa, tv, table, kitchen stuff etc.
It’s in a beautiful old mansion block, super close to Balham station & high street. There is a shared garden with the rest of the block which is perfect for the summer.
The landlord is great, very responsive. They are soon to be advertising the whole flat on the open market again as we are ending the current tenancy, but I’m very keen to stay so we would be applying to enter on a new tenancy together via openrent, subject to the standard vetting and what not.
In terms of your new flatmate (👋🏻) I’m Toby, 27 and working full time, a mix of WFH and in the office. Im very keen on having a sociable flatmate - love a pub trip, morning at Balham car boot sale, night in watching tv sort of thing. I’m super clean 🫧.
Move in date is still TBD so ideally some flexibility is needed, as it depends on when my current flatmate finalises his plan, and when we can enter into a new agreement. The latest this would be is end of August, but if things work out well then this could be end of July.
Bills are not included, we’d split these evenly.
