Spacious Attic Room in a Balham

We're two Australian girls (both 29) looking for a lovely new housemate to join us in our beautiful three-bedroom Victorian home in Balham.
We're after someone who wants more than just a room – we'd love to find someone who's keen for wholesome flatmate vibes. Think the occasional pub trip, Sunday walks, watching rubbish TV, having nights out, trying a new café, or just chatting in the kitchen after work. We also respect each other's space and all have our own lives, so there's absolutely no pressure to be social 24/7.

The room 🛏️
The room is a spacious attic double with loads of storage and plenty of room to make it your own. Being on the top floor gives you a bit of extra privacy, and it's a great space if you like having a bigger bedroom.
Shared bathroom (with bath and shower) with one other housemate

Rent: £1,100 per month (excluding bills).
Bills average about £130 per person per month.
The bills are split equally, with each person managing a couple of bills to share the financial load.

5–8 minute walk to Balham Station (tube and national rail) and within 10 minute walk from Wandsworth Common station.
Spacious shared living room and living room
Walking distance to great pubs, cafés, restaurants and multiple supermarkets as well as Wandsworth Common and Clapham Common.

About us
You would be flatting with Toni and Jemma (both 29 year old girls) who are Aussie and British dual citizens. Toni has lived in London for 3.5 years and Jemma has recently moved to London. We both work full time in project management and are hybrid workers. We enjoy travelling, exploring London, grabbing brunch or a wine, staying active, and making the house feel like a home. We're not a party house, but we're definitely not silent either. We'd love someone who's up for the occasional shared dinner, movie night, or weekend plans, while also appreciating everyone's independence.

Ideally you're a professional in your late 20s or early 30s, clean, considerate, easy-going and looking for a home rather than just somewhere to crash.
