Spacious double room in friendly Balham maisonette – £900pcm, available from 4th Nov

We’re looking for a friendly, tidy and easy going housemate to join our lovely, spacious maisonette in Balham.

The flat has been home for the last three years and is an amazing place to live: the room is very generously sized, with plenty of storage, plus there’s a garden and balcony – such a bonus in London.

You’d be sharing with myself and my partner (UK/Kiwi couple aged 29 and 30). We’re sociable and relaxed, enjoy keeping active and the occasional pub evening at weekends, but tend to have more chilled weekday evenings and are respectful of each other’s space and downtime.

Location-wise, it’s a 7-minute walk to Balham tube and Overground, with Tooting Common just 5 minutes away and Wandsworth Common around a 15-minute walk. There are lots of great shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs nearby too.

Rent is £900pcm, excluding bills. Bills are usually around £100–£120 per month and cover Wi-Fi, water, Wandsworth Council Tax and energy.
