A bright double room is available in a lovely 2-bedroom flat in Balham with your own private bathroom. The room is fully furnished with a double bed, built-in wardrobe, bookcase, and table and chair, making it an ideal, comfortable base for someone working in London during the week.

The flat is generously sized, decorated to a high standard and has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, Wi-Fi and a balcony. A cleaner comes every other week, and there is also a secure parking space in a downstairs garage.

The location is excellent within a 10- minute walk from Balham tube and rail station with direct access to the Northern Line and easy connections to Clapham Junction and Victoria. There’s a great selection of supermarkets, restaurants, bars, cafés and gyms all within easy walking distance.

You’ll be sharing the flat with me as a live-in landlord. I’m a 41-year-old Londoner and a professional who works in central London. I enjoy art, culture, yoga, wellness and socialising. I really value having a calm, clean and harmonious home, and I’m looking for someone who feels the same.

The room is available Monday to Friday, so this would suit someone who works in London during the week and is looking for a comfortable and well-connected home away from home.

A female lodger is preferred who is tidy, clean and respectful, ideally someone who works from the office 2-3 days a week. Non-smokers only and no pets, please.

Rent includes all bills with the possibility of a reasonable adjustment should household utility costs or other bills increase. (We are Council Tax band E).
