Offered as a self-contained studio room, for one person, this beautiful newly decorated double bedroom with the original wooden floor is light, bright and spacious.

There is ample storage space; including under the double bed; Hanging wardrobe; and open shelves. (The room being refurbished for this rental has fitted wardrobes)

There is a utility room for washing up and a washing machine for your use.

The house is situated close to the river in the highly sought after area of leafy Barnes. Barnes is very much like living in a village. It has its own green and duck pond, yet very close to Kensington High Street.

There are fantastic transport links. A two minute walk takes you to the bus stop from which buses leave frequently to Hammersmith Bridge (and from there it is less than 10 minutes to Hammersmith tube) . Alternatively, the mainline train takes 17 minutes to Waterloo.

We have a cleaner so other than your own room, you won’t need to do any.

This would suit a tidy, non-smoker who wants their own self-contained space with everything you need. Perhaps someone who has a demanding job working long hours, or someone who likes their own space, who simply wants a relaxing place to stay in what was an original family house. (Suitable for a single person, not a couple)

We have a cleaner so there is no need to do any cleaning in the house, and your bathroom too (which is shared with two others) is cleaned for you too. Whilst the room is a good size double, the space is available for a single person only.

Ths room is being vacated by a loder who has been here 14 years. The other has been here for 14 years too: testimony to what they like about living here.

The current two and l live quite separately; so good for anyone who likes their own space.

What we love about Barnes is it is like a village yet with easy access to Hammersmith and the tube network and 20 minutes by mainline train from Waterloo; With a duck pond and right on the river.
