Sunlit double room near Battersea Arts Centre

Hi! Looking for a clean and tidy female flatmate who can take care of the space. You’ll be sharing with me, Kim, a 26 year old working in old and rare books. I like movies and good food so I can definitely recommend a place or two in the area. I prefer a quieter, chill space most of the time.

The room for rent is a sunlit double room in a first-floor apartment with a shared living space, bathroom, kitchen and balcony. The apartment is on a tree-lined street just down the road from Battersea Arts Centre, which puts on shows throughout the year and has a bar which you can work in or relax at during the day.

The room is furnished with an in-built wardrobe, several shelves, a desk and a side table. There is extra space in the room and wall space to make it your own. It catches a lot of light in the day, as with the rest of the flat.

In terms of the local area, there are plenty of supermarkets (Asda, Aldi, Wholefoods, M&S, Waitrose), bars and coffee shops a short walk away on Lavender Hill and Northcote Road. The flat is also within a 10-15 min walk of both Clapham Common and Battersea Park.

The transport links are generally very good. There are buses at the end of the road (77, 87, 156, 345) that are a short ride to Vauxhall, Nine Elms, Sloane Sq, South Ken, Clapham Common and go direct to Waterloo and the Strand. Clapham Junction is a 10-15 minute walk away, depending on which side of the station you’re going to, and is well connected, taking you to Victoria, Gatwick and onto the Overground.
