Would suit clean, tidy, quiet & friendly lodger who also enjoys privacy - maybe someone who is visiting or working temporarily in London & is looking for a safe & comfortable place to stay for the summer, or perhaps longer.

We’re offering a double room in clean, well presented three bedroom flat overlooking the Thames in the pretty part of Battersea. Aside from your bedroom, the kitchen, bathroom & dining area are shared with Flo (mid 30s, creative professional) ...& very occasionally by me when I'm not travelling.

Close to the cafés, bars & restaurants of Battersea Square and opposite a small local park, our gated community is set in six acres of gardens & grounds - so there are also private spots to sit or eat outside on warmer days.

A walk or cycle along the river towpath just outside our gates leads to the bridge to Chelsea’s Kings Road or to leafy Battersea Park, Battersea Power Station & the Northern Line tube.

Transport wise, there's also a regular bus service (170) that stops by our side gate that takes you to Clapham Junction train station in 8 minutes or Victoria train & Underground stations in 25 minutes. Both train stations offer direct & speedy connections to Gatwick Airport. For those who prefer cycling, there are bikes to rent directly outside.
