Looking for two friendly new housemates to move into a 3-bed on Battersea High Street, near Clapham Junction/Battersea Park! It’s a lovely home - recently renovated and split level flat with 3 double rooms, spacious living room with lots of extra storage, modern kitchen, and 2 modern bathrooms (one large one small). Both bedrooms are doubles and are furnished.

It’s right by the river, 10 mins walk from Clapham Junction and about the same to Battersea Park. Area is very nice - it’s a pretty pedestrianised street with loads of great cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops nearby.

About me: 31M, work in Parliament as a civil servant. Normally in the office 3-4 days a week. I moved into the flat quite recently, back in February, but love it! The two longer-term tenants have been here for a few years but are moving out together at the end of July to go travelling.

I’m friendly, active and sociable and am looking to live with similarly minded people. Hobbies include travelling, cycling, running, hiking, cooking, and attempting to keep my houseplants alive. Partial to a local pub quiz, park run, or an evening in watching football or the Traitors. The dog in the picture (sadly) isn't mine!

About you: I’m looking for people who are sociable, easygoing, tidy, and considerate, and are up for becoming friends as well as housemates. Ideally late 20s/early 30s young professionals. Very relaxed about gender balance, but no couples please.

Rent is £1,166 per month. Bills not included but aren’t too expensive, and Council Tax is Band E but at Wandsworth rates (~£100 a month between 3!). We also have a fortnightly cleaner. Landlord has been very reasonable and responsive in the time I’ve been here.

Available from late July.
