Description
My lovely flatmate is sadly moving on after 3 years in our flat, so I’m looking for someone to take over her tenancy and become my new flatmate! 🥰
THE ROOM 🛏️
A great-sized double room with lots of natural light and its own private balcony – perfect for a bit of outdoor space! The room comes with a small double ottoman bed, which has loads of extra storage. There’s also the option to purchase the wardrobe and desk from the current tenant.
THE FLAT 🏡
The flat is lovely and bright, with a shared bathroom, kitchen and living room. We both currently have desks in our bedrooms, making it easy to WFH when needed.
LOCATION 📍
There are loads of transport links nearby, making it easy to get around London:
* 10–15 mins by bus to Clapham Common or Battersea Power Station (Northern Line)
* Around 10 mins by bus to Clapham Junction
* 10 mins’ walk to Queenstown Road station
* 10–13 mins by bus to Nine Elms (Northern Line)
* 15 mins’ walk to Battersea Park station
LOCAL AMENITIES ☕️
We have loads of great restaurants, bars and local spots right on our doorstep, plus:
* Pilates studio, nail salon and dry cleaners on the same road
* Tesco and Sainsbury’s Local within a 5-minute walk
* Huge Asda and Lidl around 10 mins by bus
* Easy access to the larger Sainsbury’s in Nine Elms
* Close to Battersea Power Station, Clapham Junction and Wandsworth
THE BORING BUT IMPORTANT BITS 💸
* Rent: £1,150 per month
* Deposit: £1,327
* Bills: approximately £120–£150 per month, depending on the season
* Bonus: we benefit from the cheaper Wandsworth council tax 🥳
A LITTLE ABOUT ME 👋🏼
I’m Tamsyn, 36, South African-born and New Zealand-raised, and I work in media on some cool sports podcasts. I love getting out and about in London, going to gigs and concerts, trying new places and enjoying a spontaneous plan or two – but I’m equally happy having a chilled night at home!
I’m looking for a friendly, tidy and considerate female professional, ideally aged 30+, who enjoys socialising together now and then but also respects each other’s downtime. I’d love for us to get along as flatmates and hopefully become friends, too!
FULL TRANSPARENCY 🤍
I’m also hoping to move on at some point in the near future, although my timeline is still TBC. I’m very happy to chat about this at viewings so everyone knows where they stand. When the time comes, you’d also have a say in who moves in next!
Ideally, we’re looking for someone to move in by 24 October.
If this sounds like your kind of home, drop me a message with a little bit about yourself and we can arrange a viewing! Xx
