En-suite double room available from 18 December in a large, modern two-bed, two-bath flat in Nine Elms, SW11.

THE FLAT
At nearly 1,000 sq ft, the flat is the best value that I've ever seen in a great, super safe area of London (next to the American Embassy), with lots of storage. Both bedrooms are exactly the same size (one has an en suite and the other has a larger bathroom). Part of the reason I've lived in the area for a while (apart from a year secondment to Sydney) is that the area is so nice + the new builds are EPC A so keep warm in winter!

It has a bright open-plan living room and kitchen with floor-to-ceiling windows, oak floors, granite worktops and an induction hob, plus a balcony. The room is a furnished double with its own en-suite bathroom. The building has a residents' gym and a communal roof terrace.

Some of the pics are from move in so my current flatmate and I have decorated the flat a bit more to add character. We’ve got a large, new TV, air fryer, microwave, toaster, nutribullet etc - basically everything for a homely home! She's leaving to go travelling.

THE AREA
Very quiet and very safe. Nine Elms (Northern line) is a 5-minute walk; Vauxhall station, Battersea Power Station and its shops, restaurants and riverside are all around 11 minutes on foot. Near district (best coffee this side of the river!)

ABOUT ME
I'm 29 and work fairly long hours at a startup. Previously, i was in Consulting for 5 years and have lived with a variety of friends (both men and women) over the years, both in London and in Sydney.

Outside work I play tennis and padel competitively on a weekly basis so I'm mostly out the house and tend to get up fairly early. Also love cooking, occasionally hosting friends, travelling and do a lot of running and reading.

For the next flatmate
I'd love to find someone kind, considerate, respectful and reliable, who wants to make the flat feel like a very safe and welcoming home. I love keeping the flat clean and have a cleaner that comes every 3 weeks for deeper cleans and keep the flat clean myself outside of that. In particular, if you're easy to get along with, happy to look out for each other please do drop a message. Personally, I'm a non smoker and don't have pets.

RENT AND BILLS
£1,400 pcm, with bills split on top. ~£1,500 deposit, through TDS and contract to be in will be required. Council tax band F, split.
