King En-suite & Bills + Weekly Cleaner Included

We’re J&A, a couple in our early 30s and both NHS professionals. We recently bought this as our home and are looking for one flatmate to share it with us.

You’d have the large king-size master bedroom and your own private en-suite in a modern 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom flat around two minutes’ walk from Battersea Park. There are only three people living here in total.

THE HOME

You’d have normal use of the shared living room, kitchen, dining area and private balcony; this is your home too, not somewhere you’re expected to disappear into your bedroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, and there’s a separate washing machine and tumble dryer. We also have ultrafast broadband, a 65-inch OLED TV, secure cycle storage and communal rooftop outdoor space. Underground parking may be available separately.

Rent includes household bills, ultrafast broadband and a weekly cleaner.

LIVING WITH US

This isn’t a managed house share. We’re looking for a flatmate, not simply someone to occupy the room.

We both work full-time and have our own routines. We’re friendly and enjoy a chat, coffee, occasional dinner or film together, but there’s no expectation to socialise and we value privacy and downtime too.

Home is generally calm, clean and relaxed rather than a party flat. We occasionally have friends over for dinner or a film and want normal, considerate use of the shared spaces to feel exactly that: normal.

Outside work we’re into travelling, cycling, hiking, the gym, cooking, nature and exploring London. We take coffee rather more seriously than necessary and, somehow, also own a popcorn machine.

LOCATION

Battersea Park is genuinely around two minutes away. Clapham Junction is within walking distance, with Battersea Power Station, the Northern line and the riverside also nearby. Chelsea, Clapham and Wandsworth are easy to reach, and it’s a great base for cycling around London or towards Richmond Park.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Ideally another full-time professional who is kind, clean, considerate and independent; someone who wants a high-quality, settled home and their own space, but not the anonymity of a large house share.
