Bright Double Room in Bayswater available!

To our future flatmate! :)

We’re looking for a lovely new flatmate to join our bright, modern and spacious home in the heart of Bayswater, around a 5-minute walk from Hyde Park.

We want to be open about the fact that our previous flatmate, who was a much-loved part of our home, sadly passed away in June which is why the room has become available. We’re sharing this openly and respectfully, as we feel it’s important for anyone considering joining our household to know.

The room & flat
The available room is a comfortable double bedroom with space for a double bed, desk and chair, shelving unit and a large fitted wardrobe.
The flat is on the 2nd floor of a well-maintained property and has:
* 3 double bedrooms
* 2 bathrooms - you’d be sharing the bathroom with one other flatmate
* Shared open-plan living room
* Modern fitted kitchen
* Separate laundry cupboard
* New appliances, including dishwasher and washing machine/dryer

You’d be living with Elena (30), from Germany, and Sasha (34), from the US.

We both have busy lives and sometimes work long hours, so home is our sanctuary — somewhere to recharge and unwind. So certainly not a party household. We really value keeping the flat clean and tidy and being respectful of each other’s space. We generally keep our social lives outside the flat and don’t have big groups of friends over.

That said, we love having a warm and friendly home — enjoying a glass of wine together, going for brunch or dinner every now and then, or simply having a chat in the kitchen.
We get along really well and would love to keep that lovely spirit going with our next flatmate. ❤️

Key details
* Rent: £1,272/month
* Bills: approximately £150–£200/month extra
* Includes an amazing cleaner who comes every 2 weeks
* Deposit: approximately one month’s rent
* Move-in date: anytime from now, 5 September at the latest
* As the flat originally came unfurnished, there is a one-time furniture take over fee of £650 for the bed and desk in the room + buy in to the flat’s shared furniture (couch, TV, cupboard, etc.)
* Referencing required: a minimum income threshold must be met for the tenancy checks.
