Fun flatshare in Belsize Park/ Swiss Cottage

Hello there,

We are 2 fun, young professional girls (one Portuguese, one English) looking for a third flattie to share our lovely duplex with. The flat is a well proportioned, fully furnished 3 bedroom 2 bathroom duplex over the top 2 floors of a house in a quiet residential street 4 mins walk away from Swiss Cottage tube (Jubilee line), 8 mins walk from Finchley Rd (Metropolitan line) and 10 mins walk from Belsize Park (Northern line). The neighbourhood is home to lots of families professionals (and celebrities!), and is very safe at night.

The room will be available from 8 February 2026 (or sooner if required) and is a light, large double room on the upper floor of the duplex apartment with two windows backing onto leafy gardens. The room is spacious, has a double bed, a large wall-to-wall built-in wardrobe, antique desk, chair and a bedside table.

On the upper floor, there is another room, with a balcony, table and chairs, where Sara lives and a bathroom which has a bath/power-shower, a sink, toilet, mirror and a cupboard and looks onto the garden below.

The kitchen has fridge/ freezer, washing machine, oven, new gas points, microwave, dishwasher, plenty of food storage space and has all the cutlery, plates, glasses, coffee set etc you might need.

Next to it there is a big living room with a dining table that extends to sit 12. There are 2 sofas 1 of which converts into a double bed for guests, which can be handy! There is a TV/ video and a fireplace.

Billswise it depends a bit on the flatshare and the season but tenants roughly pay on average an additional £120/month for shared bills, on top of monthly rent. The flat pays roughly £10 per month for water, Electricity and Gas roughly £25 per month each (around £40/each per month in the cold winter months, but circa £15/each per month in Summer). The phone line and internet works out at around £15 a month (minus any on-peak additional calls you make) including line rental and free evening London calls. Camden Council Tax is Band F and costs around £80 per month each. There is also a very thorough cleaner who comes to the flat every fortnight to clean the common areas, and vacuum the bedrooms, for which the tenants pay £30/ month each.

The flat is walking distance from Primrose Hill, which has one of the best views of all of London, and the greenery of Regents Park and Hampstead Heath and has numerous cafes, pubs, restaurants around Belsize Park and Hampstead but also has all the benefits of Finchley Road ie M&S, Waitrose & Sainsbury's, post office, hardware stores, 24 hr stores, 2 cinemas, Waterstones etc.

There are currently 2 friendly, professional girls living in the other two rooms of the duplex called Emma and Sara:
Emma is English works in TV production but also writes TV dramas and lives in the lower floor bedroom of the duplex and Sara, who is Portuguese, lives in the room next door. Sara works in public health and social inequality. She likes jogging, dancing and literature. Both girls have demanding work schedules, but enjoy catching up in the evenings over dinner and sometimes watching some TV together. The flatshare is looking for a professional, fun but respectful, flatmate to live in the larger upstairs bedroom.
