Spare Room in Bermondsey (SE16)

About the flat:
I moved into my flat a few months ago and have recently finished doing it up. The flat has a large kitchen/ living room and even a projector for film nights. I have a washing machine and am installing a dishwasher too. There is WiFi, an alarm system and two bathrooms so one for you to use exclusively. The flat is a 5 minute walk from Bermondsey and 20 mins from London Bridge. The Tesco Express is a 30 second walk.

About the room:
It’s a really spacious, furnished double bedroom with an Ottoman bed for all your storage. The bed is brand new, as is the mattress and I have the carpets installed recently. It’s quite sparse at the moment but I’m happy for you to make changes as you see fit.

About me:
I’m 27 and have lived in London for 4 years. I work in Old Street 2/3 days per week and normally walk to work. Tower Bridge is only 5 minutes away which I love. Enjoy is a stretch but I’m getting into running as I’m doing the London Marathon next year. I also play five a side football.

I wouldn’t really say I’m a guys’ guy and I have a mixture of friends from school, uni and travelling. I prefer to go out on a Friday and spend Saturday relaxing. Sunday I’ll normally go for a walk, play football and maybe go for a roast. I am trying to spend more time outside of London so I suspect you’ll have the flat to yourself on some weekends.

I enjoy watching films and seeing different places - both in the UK and abroad. I have lived with messy people so it’s important to me that whoever moves in is tidy (one of the reasons I’m not that interested in living with guys as I have always known them to be messy).

I have put 1st November as a move-in date but I’m flexible if you’d like to move in sooner. I hope that answers your questions but please reach out if there’s anything I can help with.
