We are offering a newly renovated, sun-drenched double room in our stylish two-story Maisonette in Southwark.
Accepting short term and long term stays.
The Space:
• The Room: A bright, south-facing double room with an extendable bed and space for a dedicated workstation.
• Size: the room itself is 3m*2.6m, plus the walk-in wardrobe 1.4m*0.6m.
• Storage: Exceptional storage including a large built-in walk-in wardrobe, custom bookshelves, and wall-mounted cabinetry.
• Climate & Tech: High-end Fischer electric heaters (fully programmable) and brand-new kitchen appliances. High speed hyper optic WiFi.
• Bathroom: Share a spacious, modern bathroom with us. It features an efficient instant water heater, modern bath, eaves storage and ample space. Since our working hours are flexible (Lawyer & Artist), there’s no morning rush!
• Public transportation: we are well connected to other areas of London by a few lines of buses (53/453/21/78/172/1/381…), commuting time to Waterloo and the city are within 30 minutes. The closest tube station is Bermondsey station which is 18 mins walk away, Lime bikes and e-scooters are easily accessible which makes the journey down to 5 mins.
Neighbourhood:
• Quiet cul-de-sac residential area with a nice management company
• lifestyle: nearest grocery shopping can be done either at Tesco Superstore Old Kent Road, or the Blue Market area on St James Road, both are 5-10 mins walk away from home. We also have great access to the SPA Terminus area which provides for good quality coffee, wine and cheese and local groceries during weekends.
For the Cyclist:
• The Commute: We are located right next to a major Cycle Superhighway, offering a safe, fast, and scenic ride into the City, Canary Wharf, or the West End.
• Security: The development includes a communal secure bike shed, so you don't have to worry about storing your bike inside the flat.
About Us & Our Occasional Guest:
We are two female professionals in our early 30s who value a clean and calm home. We love badminton, tennis and movie watching nights with a nice glass of wine. A small bonus: We occasionally host a part-time furry friend! A well-trained, quiet, and hypoallergenic (non-shedding) Cavapoo stays with us from time to time. She is very friendly and perfect for dog lovers who can't have one of their own.
Council tax included; utility bills not included. During British summer time, bills are £50 in total. There will be a seasonable adjustment for winter times which will add £50 more for the extra energy consumption.
