Not quite the 'Hanging Gardens of Babylon' but you could be living amongst the 'Floating gardens of Bermondsey'

'Elisabeth' is a recently refurbished large Dutch Klipper Barge with a mooring just below Tower Bridge at Bermondsey.

She has four double cabins (3.5mx2.5m), each with it's own en-suite bathroom, with two occupied.. These cabins have a large (6mx5m) shared saloon with galley, dining area and sitting area with plenty of outside relaxing space on the extensive cabin top with splendid views of Tower Bridge and the river close by.

The barge is fully furnished and has USB charging points throughout.
Elisabeth is a member of a lovely community of 30 odd classic and traditional barges with a fascinating and varied group of river loving occupants. We have many community activities and social occasions with our own floating ' party barge' as well as our award winning Garden Barges. The entire community is securely gated with access codes required.

Equipment includes a large Range gas cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dryer, dish washer, toaster, kettle etc.

Opportunities will arise for the occasional voyage down the river, for a bit of fun!! Otherwise one can walk for miles up and down the river without seeing a road or a car!

Rent is inclusive of all utilities, council tax and broadband.; peace of mind in these turbulent times.

Bermondsey tube station on Jubilee Line is just 10 minutes walk away and multiple bus services heading in all directions in the same time. 15 minutes walk East will bring you to Rotherhithe station on the London Overground and the same walk West will bring you to the Clipper Waterbuses.
