Bright modern room, inc bills, garden Bermondsey

We have a lovely double bedroom to rent in a recently refurbished flat - available to rent to one person only, no couples.

Available on March 16th, if this exact date isn't a good moving in date / contract starting date for you, please don't contact me, as our tenant is moving out on the 15th March so we are looking for someone to move in on the weekend immediately afterwards.

All bills are included, as is super fast 1000MB fibre wireless internet. The only thing we don't include is the TV licence, as nobody in the flat watches live TV, so that is the only thing that if you wish to do this, you would need to pay for this yourself. All other bills are included.

We are on a communal heating and hot water supply so there is always constant hot water with good water pressure and warm heating.

There are 5 flatmates in total. Currently 4 ladies aged 25-30, from England, and Portugal (Madeira). They are all very friendly, nice and chilled out.

There are 2 bathrooms, a huge shared kitchen, with a nice washer dryer, dishwasher, 2 large fridge freezers, microwave, oven, hob, and a large table you can all sit around.

No shared lounge but the kitchen is really large. The flat is split over 2 levels so it feels more like a house. There is also a garden that we have made really nice with 2 large sheds where you could store bikes or other things. Plus some nice garden furniture.

The flat is in a quiet ex local authority block, 5-10 minutes walk to Bermondsey tube station, which now has the night tube, so its only 2 stops to Canary Wharf, 3 stops to Waterloo and its super easy and fast to get into Central London or you could walk to London Bridge or Borough in about 30 minutes.

5 minutes walk to the river, many buses from Jamaica Road, 24 hour shops, South Bermondsey train station is also about 5-10 minutes walk, it's very convenient here.

1 minute walk to Southwark Park, easy access to Surrey Quays shopping centre, Surrey Quays, Canada Water and Rotherhithe overground stations as well.

The flat has oak laminate flooring throughout and carpet on the stairs. There are fire doors throughout and wireless linked smoke and heat alarms to the current building standards for your safety and security. There is also lots of storage in the flat - 3 large cupboards.

The room has a large floor to ceiling double wardrobe with a full height mirror door, 3 internal drawers, hanging rail with lots of space, and 2 shelves. There's also a desk, chair, a further open floor - ceiling wardrobe which has 6 drawers and a pull out tray and 3 shelves, and also some further additional shelves.

The bed is comfy and solid with a nice mattress and a mattress protector. Loads of storage space under the bed.

1 month's rent required as a deposit, and references from a current job / employment / self employment and also current landlord required. Minimum stay 6 months.

We want you all to be happy living together and have a lovely home together so will organise an in person viewing at first when the current flatmates are home - please only message if you are able to come for a viewing on Feb 21st - this coming Wednesday - between 6pm - 9pm - I will allocate 15 minute slots to anyone genuinely interested and who seems like a good fit for the flat.

Please note this is NOT a party flat, this is a professional, quiet, tidy and clean flat share. Clean respectful students are also welcome :-)

If you have a car you can get a free estate parking permit from Southwark Council. Garages can also be rented from them for around £20-30 a week I think for residents, as and when they are available. Non smoking household.
