Lovely double room in Bethnal Green

Our housemate Camille is moving out of our lovely home in Bethnal Green, and we’re looking for another woman in her mid-30s to join us! The room will be available from the end of January (exact date to be confirmed).

The house is in a perfect location - 5 mins away from Victoria Park, Bethnal Green tube and Cambridge Heath overground, and with the Approach Tavern at the end of the road.

You’ll be sharing the home with Mireia, a yoga enthusiast and cardiovascular nurse; Beatriz, our talented florist and chief gardener; and Martyna, a budding psychotherapist and professional filmmaker.

The room is a spacious double which overlooks our gorgeous garden. It currently comes with a double bed, desk and wardrobe and, can be painted if you’re not into pink. The house itself is large, with a good sized living room and kitchen and two bathrooms, plus a massive basement for storage.

We’re looking to create a warm and close-knit household where we enjoy spending time together, whether it’s sharing a morning coffee or relaxing over dinner and a glass of wine in the evening. While we all have our own hobbies and activities, we love the sense of connection that comes from these moments together. It’s definitely a calm and relaxed home, not a party house.
We’re looking for someone who is friendly, easygoing, clean, respectful, and proactive when it comes to house maintenance and shared responsibilities. We’re also slowly working on improving the garden and truly value creating a lovely home together. You’ll be added to the lease and will need to complete a formal referencing process.

No couples or pets, sorry. Professinals preferred.
The important stuff:

-Rent is £555/month paid in advance.
-Bills come to approximately £135/month including weekly cleaner.
-The deposit is £761 paid to the outgoing tenant, Camille.
-Depending on the move in date you may have to reimburse Camille for the first month’s rent.
-Viewings starting from the 13th of January.
