Lovely double room in Bethnal Green

Our housemate Rose is moving out of our lovely home in Bethnal Green, and we’re looking for another woman of a similar age to us. The room will be available from 6th December.

The house is in a perfect location – just 5 minutes away from Victoria Park, Bethnal Green tube station and Cambridge Heath Overground station, with the Approach Tavern at the end of the road.

You’ll be sharing the home with Beatriz, our talented florist and chief gardener; Steph, a social worker and a great baker (which means occasional treats!); and Martyna, a counsellor who enjoys cycling and reading books.

The room is a spacious double overlooking our garden. It comes with a double bed, desk and wardrobe. The house itself is large, with a good-sized living room and kitchen, two bathrooms and a basement for storage.

We’re looking to create a warm household where we enjoy spending time together, whether it’s sharing a morning coffee or relaxing over dinner in the evening. While we all have our own hobbies and activities, we love the sense of connection that comes from these moments together. It’s definitely a calm and relaxed home, not a party house.

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, respectful, clean, and proactive when it comes to house maintenance and shared responsibilities. We’re also slowly working on improving the garden.

You’ll be added to the lease and will need to complete a formal referencing process.

No couples or pets, sorry. Professionals preferred.

The important stuff:

Rent is £583/month, paid in advance.

Bills come to approximately £127/month, including a cleaner every two weeks.

The deposit is £761, payable to the outgoing tenant, Rose.

Viewings start on 14th November.
