Description

Our flatmate is moving on after 5 years, so we are looking for a new like-minded person to share our delightful residence in the prime location of Bethnal Green. Female preferred, but essentially looking for a kind and respectful grown-up.

We will be holding viewings from 6pm on the following dates:

― T H E ― F L A T M A T E S ―
We are Lucy (32) and Rose (42) and have made the flat our home for the past 5-12 years. We enjoy our evenings cooking and watching the Gogglebox, when we're not out gallivanting and pursuing our own interests. Kiki, the cat, joined us during lockdown and we share responsibilities of taking care of her, as we do household chores. The flat is very much our safe space to unwind and set the world to rights, open to friends but not a 'party flat'.

― T H E ― N E I G H B O U R H O O D ―
Well connected with Cambridge Heath Station (Weavers Line Overground) and Bethnal Green Station (Central Line Tube) only a short walk away, or plenty of buses into the city. Local haunts include Victoria Park, Broadway Market, Columbia Road Flower Market, London Fields, Whitechapel, with amenities of interest being Bethnal Green Library, Get Loose zero waste refill shop at Hackney City Farm, and Genesis Cinema, and plenty more.

― T H E ― R O O M ―
Our bijou room is compact and unfurnished, but comfortably fits a double bed and desk or additional storage. Included are original wooden floors, a built-in bookshelf and wardrobe with an upper storage cupboard.

― T H E ― F L A T ―
Located on the first floor of a 4-storey residential block with access via lift and stairs. Option to apply for a parking bay in the car park or bike space in cycle hoop.
Kitchen: Oven, induction hob, washing machine and dishwasher (which is used for storage).
Living room: Sofa (converts to bed for guests) and TV in living room with Chrome Cast setup for streaming.
Bathroom: Shower and bath with good pressure and hot water on tap. Separate loo.

― U T I L I T I E S ―
Gas, electric, water, council tax, internet (Community Fibre Broadband Wi-Fi) and TV licence costs are shared equally between tenants, paid monthly. Private landlords so no agency fees.
