Description
This is a really lovely big bright four bedroom flat, sharing with two other guys, polished floor boards, bright kitchen, new bathroom, separate living/ dining and a lovely sunny feel. It's a quiet end flat in a well maintained block, looking onto trees with secure entry and lift. We've been sharing rooms in the flat for many years now, and everyone who comes to see it says it's the best they've seen from Spare Room for the price. It's a gay friendly household, but we don't mind if the new flatmate is gay or straight, as long as you don't.
The room is a good sized double room with a big window (but we still have a livingroom!), with a big Ikea wardrobe for all your stuff, memory foam mattress, and nice bed. There's room for a desk or bookshelf in the room. Plenty of room and light if you want to work from home.
There's great furniture throughout the flat, a mix of midcentury and modern, art and fixtures, a big fridge for all your food, plus all the cooking bits you'll need. It's four bedroom, but normally only two other people will be living here, with a separate living/ dining area, and the existing flatmates are busy, with different schedules and travel loads, so it's not too cramped and there's never a bathroom pileup.
The bills come to a flat £100 per month added to the rent (so £1090 total). This covers all bills, even those crazy electricity prices, service charge, council tax, gas, electricity, Infinity broadband, cleaning products, and cleaner once per week. The cleaner is AMAZING, Fernanda does a 'hotel service'- changes your sheets and lines up your shoes. As well as the usual. Bliss.
It's just 7 minutes walk to Bethnal Green tube, as well as bus routes (55/8/48/26) and overground, as well as Barclay's bikes. Broadway Market, Columbia Road, amazing coffee, Victoria Park, gym, decent pubs and clubs and great food all at the doorstep, Sainsbury's and Tesco just nearby.
You'd be sharing with two guys, both professional. Ifan (he/ him) works as a Senior Commercial Writer (journalism/ marketting) Ross (he/ him) works as a software engineer. Into music, film, cafes, galleries, travel, cooking, gym, riding bikes, going out for a drink. It's a generally nice house, not a place to bring the after party, but great for having a few friends over for dinner or coffee, or having a glass of wine with housemates when everyone is about.
Accessibility: there's a lift or stairs entrance, and a small step to enter the flat. The flat itself is all on one level.
Looking for someone, straight or gay, but no couples sorry. Someone interesting, responsible and friendly that we can enjoy living with is what counts.
Get in touch if you think this sounds interesting!
Thanks!
Andrew
