Description

Hi there!

A beautiful bedroom is available to rent in a spacious, newly redecorated ground floor period flat to share with one other.
The flat has been completely and tastefully refurbished with new carpet, fresh paint, a new bathroom, and a contemporary kitchen with brand new appliances. The generous windows are double-glazed and as it is a corner property, the flat is lovely and light! The living room has french doors that open onto a terrace with stairs leading onto a large, well-maintained garden. Apart from the beautiful cornicing and original fire place, probably the most striking thing about the flat are the lovely high ceilings!

The bedroom is semi-furnished with a brand new 'small double' bed, stylish clothing rail and will have new curtains. It has two large windows and a high ceiling so although more on the 'bijou' side, it still manages to feel like a decent size. You will also have a spacious living room, kitchen and garden to hang out in. There is also a crazy amount of cupboard space in the kitchen that can also be utilised for extra storage.

I am mid-forties, originally from New Zealand and work as a Nanny/PA for a musician. I love all things design, modernist architecture, interior design, exploring London, going to friends gigs (pretty alternative music taste!) contemporary dance (watching... not partaking)! I am well versed in living with others, very friendly, considerate, tidy and like to enjoy a pretty peaceful existence at home. I work full-time outside the flat and love to be a bit of a homebody in the weekend although Im a bit more tempted to be outdoors when the weather's nice!

As for local amenities, I am very near the 'Royal Standard' shops (less than 10 min walk) which have pretty much all you need... an M&S supermarket, bakeries, pub, pharmacies, DIY store etc. Picturesque Blackheath village with its independent shops and cafes (including '15 Grams' with the BEST coffee) is a about a 15 minute walk away and there are also several bus routes that stop near the flat. Alternatively, nearby Greenwich Park is also a very picturesque place to walk/exercise/meet up with friends.

It would be amazing if you give me a bit of background as to age, occupation, hobbies/interests, if you work from home etc.

Look forward to speaking soon!
