Description
One of the current tenants is moving out in September, I’ve lived here very happily for four years and my brother lived here before me for over five years.
Myself and Tara; are the two current tenants who will be staying on. We are looking for someone chilled, tidy, fun and considerate who will enjoy and look after this lovely flat.
The room is very spacious and has a lot of scope to make it really homely. There are two wardrobes and lots of storage space throughout the flat too!
It’s a 1930’s building and the flat is on first floor, with lift access. There’s a sweet little balcony overlooking the communal garden areas which is tended to by the on site care taker and local legend Pauline. There’s a bike shed space too that can be arranged if needed.
The kitchen has gas hobs, a washing machine with built-in dryer, fridge, plenty of cupboard space.
In terms of parking, there are visitors permits you can apply for.
Blackheath station is a casual 5 minute walk away (or a frantic 3 minute run if you’re in a rush!). And it’s a short 20 minute train on the overground trip to London Bridge, then from there; London is your oyster.
In the price listed, the bills (inc Council tax Band E) are included but be aware these might change slightly (particularly with the energy bill) throughout the year, and at this moment in time are around £170 per person per month. You can discuss changing any providers when you move in of course. We also expect the rent to increase once the tenancy contract renews at the end of September.
It’s a real hidden gem this place. Blackheath is a perfect mix of leafy, peaceful and of out of the way, yet super easy to get to and from central London.
Greenwich park observatory is a 15 min walk away and sunset views of London are the best in humble opinion.
We're looking for someone friendly and easy going, but who will also be clean, tidy and respectful. Ideally we'd like someone looking for a place to stay a while and to make it their home, rather than a short term thing.
Get in touch if you are interested or have any questions or if you fancy coming to have a look and meet us in person or over Zoom.
