🏡 I am looking for a new tenant to take over my spacious double room a date after 1st March as I am moving out to go travelling.
Three big windows that allows a lot of natural light and a great view of the garden expanse. The room faces away from the main road on Lee Road so it's incredibly quiet and still.
Two bathrooms: one with shower on top floor that is shared, a bathroom on the second floor next to the kitchen.
Three very kind professional flatmates living there now.
🌳 What do to in the area:
Around Blackheath station there are cafés, bookshops, charity shops, quiet pubs, and a variety of restaurants. Greenwich Park is also only a lovely 20-minute walk from the house. It feels like a small English town despite being in London, offering tranquility and a slower pace in life.
There also cafes and takeaways (kebab/ fish and cups, pub) right by the house if you have no time to cook!
Food shopping can be done at the big Sainsbury's within a few minutes walk up the road.
🚄 Transport:
Blackheath station is a 10 minute walk and only an approximately 15-minute journey into central London (London Bridge, Cannon Street, Victoria). You can take the 202 or SL4 bus to Blackheath station if you prefer which takes you immediately outside.
Lee Station can be reached in the opposite direction by the 202 or SL4 bus. From the station is also a very quick commute to Charing Cross Station.
New tenants:
- The new occupant must be in full time employment
- No couples (unless otherwise specified) or friends sharing the room
- They are subject to the same referencing process and will be required to pay 1 weeks payment to reserve the room which would then be credited to the first months payment once complete
- The new occupant will be required to make a one-off contribution to Council Tax of £150 upon signing of the contract.
