Description

***Please read carefully and respond with the requested informaton***
We have a largely self-contained one-bed flat on the top floor of our house which we are happy to provide to the right person in return for 16hrs of housework a week and babysitting one night a week (we have a cleaner four times a week so you wouldn't be asked to do heavy duty cleaning, just day to day tasks such as kids' laundry, general tidying, dishwasher, food preparation, etc.). The offer includes all utilities, including Wifi. The flat is in a beautiful, detached house on a very quiet street, very close to Greenwich Park and a variety of transport options including a train station at one end of the street and several bus routes on the other end.

The flat has a well-equipped kitchen/living room with TV and a separate double bedroom with a large, built-in wardrobe. The spacious bathroom is on the same floor but separate to the flat and shared with one of our children.

***IMPORTANT*** - Role details are below. Please let me know how our offer would fit around your other commitments, whether you have any relevant experience (house keeping/being organised is important, childcare is not), when you would be available and for how long.

We are looking for preferably a mature, non-smoking single female (not couples). House keeping experience would be ideal but is not essential. Above all, we need someone who is naturally very organised, diligent, meticulous and has at least basic cooking skills (I can provide recipes).

Ideal hours are 1.5-2 hours each week day morning (ideally 8-9:30 but can be flexible) and 4:30-7pm three afternoons a week (not Friday). The tasks usually involve:

- tidying the kitchen (clearing up after breakfast, some washing up from night before, emptying dishwasher, checking if bins need to emptied, etc.)

- quick tidy up of kids' rooms, and

- doing the kids' laundry - usually involves doing a wash each day and then putting away anything that's dry (our cleaner does the ironing).

- around three-four afternoons a week, very light supervision of the children when they come home from school (they're aged 12-17 so don't really need looking after), and preparing and cooking food for the whole family.

As you can probably tell from the above, housework is a large part of the role and I do need somebody who's happy to do that and who'll be efficient and organised. As the role is limited in hours, you will have plenty of spare time and, as such, the role can suit students or people with other part-time jobs which fit around the hours I need. I look forward to hearing how this role will fit with your commitments. I'll reply swiftly to anybody who I think may be suitable but I'm very sorry that I won't be able to reply to everyone.
