Cosy and bright double room in a house share

This is a double room on the top floor of a maisonette flat, located 7 minute walk from Borough station, Southwark station and Elephant and Castle station, 12 minutes from Waterloo station, and 15 minutes from London Bridge station.

The room is on the top floor and southwest facing, so enjoys lots of sunshine throughout the day. It comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, tall chest of drawers, bookshelf, and a bedside table with a lamp.
There is also a coat/shoe rack just outside of the room which can be used as additional storage.

The lounge is a large shared space with a dining table and 2 sofas.
There is a kitchen with washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine, refrigerator, slow cooker, kettle, and all kitchen utensils/ware.
There are 2 shared toilets and 1 shower/bath. There is also a potential terrace overlooking neighbours' gardens.

Current flatmates are very nice English and French speaking professionals in their late 20s/very early 30s, working in science and arts/media. As housemates we enjoy spending time with each other from time to time, having tea or watching films together. We’d love to have someone who will be up to socialise when we all have the time.

The rent (with all bills included) comes up to £697/month (full breakdown available on request). Bills included are: Council Tax, Broadband, Water, Gas and Electricity.

There is no deposit required, however a photocopy of your passport as well as your bank statement, employment details, and reference will need to be submitted to the lettings agent.

Move-in date is flexible but earliest at end of March, latest around mid April would be preferred.

We respect social distancing measures, so are happy to meet or arrange viewings online, followed by a physical meeting, if desired.
