One of our flatmates is sadly moving out, so we have one spacious double bedroom available from late November, with the possibility of moving in a little earlier.

Super central (you can’t beat being just a few steps away from Borough Market, Borough Yards and London Bridge), right next to the Thames, yet tucked away on a quiet street.

The neighbourhood is lively and trendy, with plenty of great bars, restaurants and cafés. Whether you need to catch a train, grab a coffee or stock up on fresh produce, everything is within easy reach.

* 5 min walk to London Bridge Station (Jubilee/Northern lines; National Rail)

Probably the best part of the flatshare is the house itself (yes, it’s actually a house, not a flat!).

It has a very spacious open-plan living / dining room and fully equipped kitchen, with wooden floors and plenty of natural light thanks to the floor-to-ceiling sliding doors opening onto a lovely terrace and garden – a rare find in such a central location.

The house was renovated in summer 2023, so everything feels modern, clean and well maintained. The photos give you an idea, but it actually feels even more spacious in person.

There’s plenty of room for everyone (around 140 sqm shared between four flatmates in total, including you), as well as ample storage space.

**The Room – £1,235 pcm**

Spacious, fully furnished double bedroom with:

* Double bed with a new mattress
* Large built-in wardrobe
* Plenty of space and natural light

You would share a bathroom with two other housemates on the first floor, with an additional bathroom available on the ground floor.

Bills and additional costs:

* Bills are excluded from the rent (historically around £150 per month per person, although this may vary).
* Council tax: One of the existing flatmates, Lily, is a student and exempt from council tax. Council tax is therefore split between the other three housemates, including you, rather than four.
* Cleaner: £15 per person per clean.

**The Flatshare**

You would be sharing the house with three of us:

* Luciana, Italian, working in management consulting
* Lily, an English medical student
* Me, French, working in finance

We’re looking for someone friendly, sociable and easy-going, who would enjoy sharing the occasional beer, dinner or chat when we’re not all busy working, studying or travelling, but who also values everyone’s personal space.

We’re all pretty independent, but we’d like to keep the house a friendly and welcoming place rather than just somewhere people sleep. Being clean and respectful of shared spaces is important to us.
